Sylvia is a stunning true silver grey from championship-winning bloodlines, with a pedigree of over 85% grey.  She commands presence with her ruler-straight topline and square, balanced proportion.

Her best fleece characteristics are softness, coverage and luster -- her fiber literally shimmers in the moonlight or sunlight.  Sylvia delivered her first cria in April 2008 -- a beautiful, vigorous male named Mercury.  True to the reproductive history of her bloodlines, she is a natural mother -- an easy breeder and birther who is very attentive to her cria and has plenty of milk.

"The wealth acquired by speculation and plunder is fugacious in its nature, and fills society with the spirit of gambling.  The moderate and sure income of husbandry begets permanent improvement, quiet life and orderly conduct, both public and private."

--Thomas Jefferson to George Washington, 1787
